Car accident leads to 3 injuries, 1 death
When a head-on crash takes place, it’s natural for people who witness the incident to be frantic about the fates of those inside the vehicles involved. A head-on car accident can easily lead to permanent injuries or even death when two vehicles often strike each other at a high rate of speed. One woman recently passed away following this type of collision in California.
The accident happened a little after 5 a.m. on a recent Thursday. Two different Toyota vehicles crashed into one another. One of the vehicles actually caught fire following the accident. The hood of the vehicle ended up being charred, and the front of the automobile was smashed.
A 65-year-old woman died in the crash. Meanwhile, three more people suffered serious injuries and had to be transported to the hospital. The street where the accident happened remained shut down for several hours after the accident happened.
A thorough police investigation is needed to reveal more information about exactly what occurred and who may have been at fault in the fatal car accident. If the woman was driving and somehow caused or contributed to the collision, her estate and anyone else who owned the car she was driving may face claims for financial responsibility for the three injuries. Meanwhile, if another person is found to have been negligent, he or she may face a wrongful death claim filed by the deceased woman’s family members as well as personal injury claims from the other parties that were injured. Proof of negligence is needed in order for liability to be satisfactorily established in a California civil court.
